Come along to the Herbert Smith Freehills Open Client Interview Final to see Griffith's best client interviewers in action. Emi Christensen and Tegun Middleton will compete against James Vercoe and Anne Sernefors! The firm will be providing drinks and nibblies and there will be a free raffle drawn on the night for those attending for a $50 Co-op voucher.

Sign-ups for the second set of open competitions are now open. The competitions are as follows, and will begin their preliminary rounds in week 8, with finals in weeks 11:

With open competitions being on their way, GULS has updated its competitions handbook. This is a must read for any competitor, whether they are a first-timer or a veteran.

 

The handbook covers Mooting, Client Interviewing, Witness Examination, and Negotiation, and is contained in an ever-useful PDF for your perusal at this link.

2013 Open Competitions Sign-Ups Open

Sign-ups for the first three open competitions are now open. The competitions are as follows, and will begin their preliminary rounds in week 3, with finals in weeks 6 and 7:

The College of Law Open Witness Examination
DLA Piper International Humanitarian Law Moot

 

This year, each competition's preliminary rounds will be held on a specific day of the week. For Negotiation this is Monday, for Wit Ex it is Tuesday, and for the IHL Moot it is Thursday.

The client interview grand finals will be once again held in the amazing offices of Freehills. Freehills has seen some glorious client interview grand finals in its time, and this one promises to be just as entertaining, tense and dramatic as the ones that have preceeded it.
