Benefit for the DeWet Family

GULS is planning a charity night within the next month to raise money for the sister of one of our law students, who was in a tragic car accident a few months ago. She suffered damage to 70% of the left hemisphere of her brain, and doctors expected her not to pull through. Fighting to stay alive and recover, she has been in intensive care since her accident. She is likely to remain in hospital for the next year at the very least, which is causing a considerable strain, both emotionally and financial for her family.
