Mooting
Mooting is an important skill for any aspiring lawyer that can be practiced by participating in the GULS competition.
Mooting involves a written and an oral presenting a legal argument to a ‘judge’ in a mock courtroom. There are two per side, senior and junior counsel. After a written outline of submissions has been submitted to the bench, each team of two takes their turn at presenting their arguments and will be questioned by the judge.
Competition entries are now open for Semester One. Sign up sheets are located outside GULS Office at N06 -1.07. Note:- Only Law Students who have purchased the GULS Lcard will be able to participate. If you are yet to become a paid member simply purchase your Lcard at the GULS office.
